The Feed reports that after battling it out with the State Liquor Authority, East Village cocktail den Death & Co. has finally secured a new liquor license. This doesn’t really change much, since, despite losing its license in December of 2007, the bar had of course been serving booze under a special provision while its court case was heard, but nevertheless we’re glad it now has some security. The SLA’s website confirms that a license was granted on July 9 and it won’t expire until February of 2011.
