Just when you thought it was safe to grab a bacon-free bite, FIG has filled nearly a quarter of its new brunch menu with servings of sausage and bacon, according to The Daily Dish. Keeping the shark-jumping pork product from landing somewhere safely, FIG even serves “bacon-wrapped bacon” and a bacon waffle with bacon ice-cream. Not to be outdone by Bigfoot Lodge’s bacontini, FIG’s Bloody Marias come with a smoked strip of the stuff, plus a bacon-salt dusted rim. We thought Animal had pushed bacon just far-enough with bacon chocolate bars, but still the backlash to the backlash continues.
