When does going to the same restaurant every night and ordering a burger and fries not mean you’re stuck in some kind of carnivore comfort rut? When it’s Burgerfest 2009, that’s when! Starting tonight and running all this week, Rockit Bar & Grill celebrates its annual Burgerfest by offering a different featured burger per day at both its Wrigleyville and River North locations.
Featured burgers riff on traditional bar-and-grill fare, beefing up Rockit’s existing burger offerings with a new $12 variety each day — think Wednesday’s farm-raised salmon with spinach pesto and pickled red onion, or Friday’s knockout confection of Kobe topped with foie gras on brioche with a side of truffle fries.–Hanna Andrews
