Brian Konefal left Bina Osteria because he didn’t want to go with the owners’ “traditional Italian” concept, a restaurant source revealed to MenuPages. New executive chef and co-owner Azita Bina-Seibel plans to focus on “modern dishes rooted in classic methods” available at a lower price point than Konefal’s menu. Bad news for fans of the old Bina: she has no plans to bring back the carbonara, the quail, or the gnocchi.
