It’s a Repeal Day of the fatty, unctuous kind today, as Chicago restaurants celebrate the overturning of the City Council’s silly 2006 ban on foie gras. In honor of our reclaimed right to consume duck liver, member restaurants of Chicago Chefs for Choice are offering foie gras-centric dishes for the next four days (through June 16) for just $10. Check out what’s on offer at Cafe Bernard, Cafe Matou, Carlos’ in Highland Park, Hemmingway’s Bistro in Oak Park, May Street Market, and the high temple of all things foie, Cyrano’s Bistrot. At David Burke’s Primehouse, chef Rick Gresh has gone completely bonkers over it, offering up eleven foie gras options, each more succulent than the next. Check out the complete list after the jump
