You Must Do This: Save The Farmer Multi-Chef Beer Dinner at Goose Island

On April 24th, farmer George Rasmussen of Swan Creek Farms (which provides succulent meats to many of Chicago’s top pork-oriented kitchens) lost his truck, trailer, generator, and a nontrivial amount of food in a fire while he was out making deliveries.

To help him recover his losses (and to engender good faith for all), springing to his aid with a benefit dinner are Chris Pandel of The Bristol, Mindy Segal and Mark Steuer of Hot Chocolate, John Manion of Goose Island Brew Pub, and Rob and Allison Levitt from Mado.

The dinner will be May 20th at Goose Island Clybourn, with tickets for the family-style feast (with Goose Island beer pairings) running an even $100. All proceeds will benefit Rasmussen and his farm. To purchase a ticket, call (312) 915-0071.
