Tomorrow will be the last day for Jack Falstaff, and it may be telling that, on its last weekend in business, there were still tables available when we checked today. OpenTable shows tables for two and four available at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. tonight and tomorrow. Chef Jonnatan Leiva’s future is still unclear, though Plumpjack group told us last week that it was hoping to reassign him as an executive chef elsewhere. With Falstaff shuttered and Plumpjack Cafe down for long-term rennovations, we’re left with Balboa Cafe as the only Plumpjack restaurant in San Francisco. At least we got the one with the good hamburger.
