Skål! Prune Serves Scandinavian Suppers

Scandinavian is an underrepresented cuisine (hence our mini-glossary of Scandinavian food terms), which is why we’re looking forward to a special dinner at Prune on Sunday, May 17.

Join us for Sunday supper and help us welcome Danish chef and food writer Trina Hahnemann, to celebrate the release of her new book, “The Scandinavian Cookbook.” We’ll cook from Trina’s book with a menu including Smorrebrod, Cod’s Roe on rye bread, Baked Veal with Rhubarb, sweet and sour cucumber salad and barley salad, Rhubarb Trifle and Medaljer. Dinner includes beer and Aquavits and a copy of Trina’s book, her first to be published in English.

The dinner, from 5:30 p.m. till 8:30 p.m., is $75. Reservations at 212-677-6221.
