The Riesling lobby is making a push right now, declaring next week Riesling Week, and persuading a bunch of local eateries to offer specials accordingly. Some 17 restaurants and two shops in the region are participating, mostly in the city. Most of the specials take the form of Riesling flights, or Riesling pages on wine lists, but Epic has a bit of a secret special not listed in the Riesling Week PR materials: “EPIC is doing a Riesling flight and for any guest that comes in and mentions Riesling week they will receive an amuse bouche of in-house smoked sturgeon with paddlefish caviar on a cornmeal blini.” Check out the full list of participating restaurants and their specials, after the jump.
