Speaking of drinking, you can already set your sights on Philly Beer Week 2010. The beer festival, which is apparently, the largest celebration of beer event nationwide will be back from Friday, June 4 to Sunday, June 13, 2010. Superfans may note that that’s more than a year between PWB 2009 and 2010, but Don Russell (a.k.a. Joe Sixpack, one of the PWB founders), partially explains the pushed back timeline, saying “we think that Philly Beer Week will only get better and grow bigger from year to year. Now that we are moving the event to a warmer month, we hope it will bring out even more attendees. We’re planning to host outdoor events throughout the city and suburbs.” March’s PWB 2009 drew over 35,000 attendees, so yeah: this thing will probably be huge. To stay up to date on PWB 2010, keep checking back in here and at Philly Beer Week, where there is a literal countdown happening.
