Is A Death & Co. Lounge Going Into Bar Noir?

The posh, pre-prohibition cocktail storm has been brewing here for a while, but this might be the definitive sign of its arrival: Sasha Petraske, the New York mixologist associated with cocktail dens Death & Co., Little Branch, and Milk and Honey is rumored to be be opening a Philly lounge. New York nightlife blog Down By The Hipster reports that the prospective bar will look a lot like Death & Co. and go by the name Franklin Mortgage and Investment Company — after the 1920s money laundering outfit run by Max “Boo Boo” Hoff. A commenter says it will go into the Bar Noir space.

UPDATE: Sasha Petraske has nothing to do with the Franklin Mortgage and Investment Company. If it opens, the cocktail bar will be a Death & Co. project alone.
