Bad news, guys! The SlapChop is not as awesome as it looks on TV, reports Slate. Its blades couldn’t even make their way through an apple, which its rival infomercial product the Vidalia Chop Wizard cut easily. One bright side for the SlapChop: its pitchman’s prediction that “you’re gonna love my nuts” turned out to be wholly accurate.
