Can you guess which Noe Valley restaurant is for sale? We called the agent on this Craigslist ad and he wouldn’t give us the details, so we can only surmise. According to this other ad we found for the place, it’s a pretty small operation: Eight employees, 49 seats inside, 16 outside. That ad also states the reason for the sale: “This new owner just purchased this business but then realized he does not have the time to run two business.”
We’re going to put our money on City Grill, which opened in late 2008 by the proprietor of the nearby Lupa Trattoria. It’s about the right size, the time-line seems about right, and the beer and wine license fits. But what do you think? Got an inside line? Let us know.
