Wagyu Not Waning

If you wondered whether that new Japanese butcher shop specializing in wagyu was seriously ill-timed, it seems not. Cuozzo reports that wagyu sales have increased at Morimoto and at BLT Steak in the past years (the luxury meat brings in about $3,328 per week at the latter, including people who buy wagyu for their dogs), and Old Homestead still sells an average of 150 wagyu burgers at $41 a pop.
