Todd English’s rep has sent us a statement confirming the Feedbag’s report that he has split with the Libertine: “Thompson Hotels and Todd English have mutually and amicably agreed to discontinue Todd’s involvement in The Libertine.” We’re assured, however, that English is working on a top secret project that will hit New York in the next year. He’s been trying Peruvian food out at his restaurants — can we expect something along those lines? Nothing has really happened with the cuisine (around these parts, anyway) ever since he joined the ranks predicting it would be the next big thing.
