Geno’s Attacker Sentenced To Prison

The Chesco college student who assaulted a Geno’s Steaks employee in December 2007 has been sentenced to six to 23 months in prison. Kevin Bacci, 20, will be serving his term on work release, and will also be on probation for four years.

Bacci’s conviction is for aggravated assault on Anthony Chestnut, a Geno’s employee, whose injuries were severe enough to prevent him from working for six months following the attack. Apparently, the December 2007 fight may have started when Bacci called Geno’s “the worst steaks in Philadelphia,” which is an incendiary declaration no matter what, but especially when spoken to a Geno’s partisan.
