Tickets are still available for Sunday’s Cochon 555 pork fest. The event, which will take place at The Liberty Hotel at 5pm, will feature five chefs (Toro’s Jamie Bissonette, Clink’s Joseph Margate, Farmstead’s Matt Jennings, Craigie On Main’s Tony Maws, and Beacon Hill Bistro’s Jason Bond) each preparing a seventy pound heritage pig, nose-to-tail. Five local wineries will prepare accompaniments. The dishes will be judged, and one winner will be crowned “Prince of Porc.” Tickets cost $125, but if that’s a little rich for your blood right now, don’t worry: we’ll have a full recap on Monday.
