Did Water Works Jinx the Flyers?

After the Flyer’s 5-3 playoff loss to the Penguins on Saturday, Water Works Restaurant owner Michael Karloutsos stepped up and accepted responsibility for the premature end of the Flyers’ season. Mike Richards, Jeff Carter and Joffrey Lupul all ate dinner there last Friday, and Karloutsos told the Daily News that he might refer pro athletes to other restaurants. Maybe not a bad idea — Samuel Dalembert had brunch there on Sunday just before the Sixers lost to the Magic. Karloutsos should point everyone to Rouge — that’s where Phillies outfielder Jayson Werth ate on Sunday, but only after beating the Marlins.
