Well, it’s not Sonic, but we may be getting another burger-hop chain in Checkers. According to Flappy Days, it’s taking over the Busy Chef space in Brooklyn (unless construction workers were fooling the blog, as one commenter suspects — keep in mind, those Five Guys rumors proved false). Checkers, which currently has locations in Staten Island and Jersey City, is known for its oasislike, old-timey drive-throughs — let’s see if the concept can work in this space. [Flappy Days]
