We’re told that Tonda — the pizzeria from Bread’s Bob Giraldi and Luigi Comandatore, in the former E.U. space — will open tomorrow. As mentioned in this week’s magazine, pizzaiolo Michele Sceral (with the help of an oven built by Nobile Attie, who’s also done work for Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Peasant’s Frank DeCarlo) will be baking twenty kinds of pizza as well as salads, focaccia, and “Neapolitan street food.” Check out the menu.
