Tremont 647 Offers Late Night Dim Sum And Then Some

While South End favorite Tremont 647 is famous for its American cuisine (hello, lobster mac and cheese!) the restaurant has been laying out amazing deals lately, and the cuisine is hardly American. First came the popular Taco Tuesday, a south of the border favorite which charges $2 each for tacos of all kinds. Now chef Andy Husbands is looking east for inspiration. Way east.

Husbands has taken a cue from Eastern culture with his new late night dim sum menu. For all those night owls lurking Tremont Street looking for a bite after leaving the bars, Tremont 647 is ready to serve Asian delights for the hungry masses. Now patrons don’t have to hoof it to Chinatown for an after hours taste of Asia, because Husbands’ menu includes favorites like chicken curry wontons, smoked salmon rangoon, and a variety of spring rolls. The best part? Items on the late-night menu are strictly $5 a piece, which is next to nothing when you consider how much a night out at most other South End restaurants cost. The offer is strictly available Thursday through Saturday from 10:30 to 12:30 am. So while 647 is no late night pizzeria, at least you can sit down for a good meal and a nightcap without waiting in line for slices with drunken college students.
