Izzy Sarto and Kat Craddock In at Tremont 647


Tremont 647 is celebrating its twelve year anniversary this year - a veritable eon in the oft-changing Boston restaurant scene and along with the milestone come some big changes in the kitchen. Isadora “Izzy” Sarto has stepped in as executive chef. Sarto comes to Tremont 647 from New York’s Cafe Boulud, where she worked under legendary chef Daniel Boulud. Also coming on board is pastry chef Kat Craddock, recently of Chicago’s excellent Hot Chocolate. This isn’t Craddock’s first time in the area: she’s a Wellesley graduate. Tremont 647’s chef/owner (and Beard Award long-list member!) Andy Husbands is excited about the restaurant’s new talent: “In my opinion, we are better than ever.”
