Del Frisco’s Double Eagle, the mammoth steakhouse that opened back in November, is in the midst of legal wrangles with contractors who worked on the restaurant. The steakhouse is a the center of seven — potentially eight — lawsuits for millions of dollars, mainly over a “common thread in the contractors’ claims […] that they were directed to perform extra work on an accelerated timetable at a construction site in disarray.”
Not taking it lying down, Del Frisco’s has fired back with a lawsuit of their own, citing mismanagement and change order that added an extra $4.4 million to the project. (The possible eight lawsuit is from the contractors again, suing both the restaurant and the building’s owner).
