The plans to turn Court Street’s landmark Ames Building into a chic Morgans boutique hotel are proceeding apace and hiring has begun for the in-house restaurant, bar, and lounge, which will be the city’s most exciting, according to the Craigslist hiring post. Nightlife impresario Seth Greenberg had expressed interest in the space at one time, but as of yet, no word about who is running the restaurant. Notable: they’re still seeking an executive chef.
