Where To Dump Your Date In Philly

With Valentine’s Day looming, Adam of MP:San Francisco writes about the recently released Zagat dating guides for New York and Los Angeles.

Here’s the thing: the Zagat handbooks not only chronicle where to date and woo Mr. or Ms. Right, they also give advice on where to successfully dump those less-than-perfect matches. Noisy, crowded restaurants are good, as are train stations. Ideally, anywhere that provides ample opportunities for egress, or discourages the person being dumped from making a scene.

In San Francisco, Adam suggests the Ferry Building, because “it has a bunch of different restaurants, for whatever mood and income level you’re in when you pull the trigger, and it’s also near transit.” In that spirit, we’re going to suggest either Reading Terminal Market, where there is no shortage of comfort food or transit options, or a Stephen Starr joint like Parc or Jones, which are probably among the loudest restaurants in the city.
