Appropriate for a warming Thursday morning: The McRib Locator! This bit of Web 2.0 is exactly what it sounds like — a user-driven map with pushpins indicating McRib sightings (dubious or verified) within the past 10 days.
My predecessor on this blog was not a fan of the McRib, and I seem to recall one of our early transition conversations centering around some jokey slamming of the sandwich. Which hurt me even then, but is doubly — nay, triply — painful now, since I haven’t had one in what amounts to close to a decade at this point. I can only imagine that the McRib that lives in my head is far, far superior to whatever McRib actually occupies this plane of existence. I’m a little scared to find out.
