The bad news: Coney Island boardwalk boutique Lola Staar’s lease won’t be renewed. The good news: Ruby’s’ may be. Owner Michael Sarrel tells the Daily News: “We believe we are being renewed, but as of today I don’t know for sure.” The bad news: “‘There’s a substantial rent increase,’ added Sarrel, who wouldn’t discuss specifics. ‘The truth is the previous rent was fair.
