Everything But The Kitchen Sink

While waiting to sneak in for a quick hair appointment we clearly didn’t call and schedule, we decided to check out some of the local cafes in the Boston University-dominated, pre-Allston territory. We haven’t been out there much during the daytime since college, and we generally try to avoid the MBTA B-line due to their method of stopping every 2 seconds. But luckily, we walked next door and found the ultimate gem of a cafe. Angora Cafe is an adorable eatery with couches and tables ideal for lounging with friends, or doing working on your laptop. While we were impressed by their colorful frozen yogurt menu that offers every kind of mix you could imagine, the frigid cold didn’t really put is in the mood for such a chilly treat.

We ordered our typical sandwich of choice: a falafel roll up with veggies and feta cheese. We were extremely surprised when the friendly cashier handed us over a gigantic LOG of a sandwich. Seriously, this thing looked like it was ready to be thrown on the Christmas Eve fire. Angora’s wraps are massive, and delicious to boot. We were extremely surprised by the variety of the menu; they offer everything from pizza to calzones to panini grilled sandwiches. Everything but the kitchen sink was on the menu, so there’s no possibility of any picky eaters complaining that there’s “nothing they like on the menu.”

While sitting in the comfortable cafe is definitely enjoyable, there is always something appealing about sitting in your pajamas, watching television, and eating your meal. With Angora’s delivery option, you can do just that until 11pm every night. Ordering online is even an option, which we think is a great option for workplace lunch orders. So whether you’re a resident of the BU-area, or just a hungry worker looking for a new place to delivery, give a call over to Angora for some delicious and reasonably priced delights.
