That speedy little gingerbread man was such a pompous bastard. He told all the people and animals he was way too fast to be caught, and then look what happened. A (literally) sly fox offered him a free ride and gobbled him up. Not only does this sound like an after school special deterring us from hitchhiking, but this story, one of the lovely members of the disturbing tales for children club, has probably instilled a fear of being eaten alive into the minds of multiple kids. So let’s stay on the nicer side of gingerbread, and build a cute little house this Christmas season at Beacon Hill mainstay 75 Chestnut.
On Friday, December 19th and Saturday December 20th from noon to 3 pm, you can build your own edible abode while luxuriating by the fire at Boston’s coziest restaurant. All supplies are provided for you, and people of all ages are encouraged to attend. Best of all, guests can munch of the holiday menu which includes everything from Swiss chocolate and maple almond soup to vanilla frosted gingerbread Martinis. Each house costs $10 to make, but that’s really not too much of a bank breaker in comparison to a lot of other restaurant specials this year. So damn the (gingerbread) man this year, and go for the high-end real estate instead. Stop by 75 Chestnut for a delicious and fun afternoon of holiday treats.
