Keeping in tradition with the job-losing, economically stumbling status of today, we only have closings this week in Boston. How fitting.

Closings:

Allston: It’s depressing when restaurants don’t even get off the ground before they close. Cambodian restaurant Suvarnabhumi Kiri’s name proved to be longer than its existence in Allston. [Chowhound]

South End: Two months. That’s how long Circle lasted in the South End. We seriously have spinach in our refrigerator that’s older. Circle took over the former location of Bob’s Southern Bistro, and the genre switch probably didn’t send devoted Bob’s diners flocking in for tiny plates of French food. [Boston Globe]
