While bumbling around the interweb, we found this little gem: A Write-up of the San Francisco steakhouse in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Did you know such a thing existed? Because we did not. But we love it. Very “Americatown.”

I have not been to a Western Restaurant for quite sometime as I do not fancy western foods that much. Today I decided to had lunch at San Francisco Steakhouse as they have Lunch Set Meal Promotion @ RM16.90 with fee flow of Soup of the Day and Soft Drinks. What more, I had a RM50.00 gift voucher which is due to expire end of Dec 2008.
The food looks pretty meh, but the feeling of representing the “other” as a westerner really comes through, which is rather neat. Is this how it feels when Malaysian nationals come here and eat at Lime Tree? Probably. It’s kind of funny. Like when we had spaghetti and meatballs in Mexico that time.
