NYC The Blog reports that Houston Street mainstay Bagels & Pizza couldn’t eke a living out of drunken bar-crawlers and has folded. The proprietor won’t go back into the slice business. Meanwhile, according to Bowerie Boogie, the folks at L.E.S. Sandwicherie are moving the operation to a larger space — in the meantime, their signature sandwiches are being served at sister restaurant Kuta during lunch.
