Maybe it’s a little early to be making weekend plans, but we’re newly enamored of gCal (there are so many colors!) and want to add as much as we possibly can.
So we are pretty psyched about this Friday’s launch of Hip Sip, which is a… thing? event? recurring special evening?… sponsored by ristorante we in the W City Center.
The scoop is: Each iteration of Hip Sip has a theme — this inaugural edition is built around the 1960’s, so think fondue, deviled eggs, and three-olive martinis. There will also be pop-up vintage boutiques and makeup artists armed with matte red lipstick and false eyelashes, to help you channel just a little bit more Joan Holloway.
Considering that the open bar is top-shelf and that we’ve never been able to successfully apply our own false eyelashes, this sounds like our kind of evening.
