We’ve heard that the hotly anticipated Shang is poised to open to the public just days after a private Gourmet event on November 17. According to Eater’s report from the construction site, Susur Lee, despite having just cooked for Madonna, is still hammering out the menu, which he describes as “based on old European and Asian cuisines.” If you’re looking for a sneak peek, it’s a safe bet he’ll debut some dishes at the Beard Foundation’s Dumplings & Dynasties gala on November 13.
