One of our commenters found the Shake Shack UWS in full swing on Sunday — “boy, the line was short. Yum” — and A Hamburger Today has photos of the Shack in action during a soft opening on Friday. But before you go, there’s something you should know: According to another AHT post, by Ed Levine, the fries are frozen. Not quite as shocking as Thomas Keller using frozen fries, but nevertheless, Levine is appalled, though in the end he admits they’re kind of good.
