Du Jour gets paid a visit by Adam Erace. The review includes the slightest of burns (“like many of the owners ensconced in the condos upstairs, Du Jour comes from Haverford”), a warning to keep things uncomplicated (“check yourself before you wreck yourself, Du Jour”), and advice to prospective diners ("Du Jour is truly at its best in the a.m., when the servers and the Illy coffee are fresh.”). Noted!

• Move over, beer? In Side Dish, Beth Lesko postulates that Philly is also a wine town. The evidence? Tria was named as one of the country’s “10 Hot” wine bars in Bon Appetit. Also, four words: Philadelphia Magazine’s Wine Week. Admissible.

• Last-but-not-least, Supper Club has a write-up of the 2008 David Michael road show, which sounded Willy Wonka-esque to us before even reaching the end of the piece.
