We just had a bite — one single bite, because there was one bar and many people — of the Firecracker chocolate bar from the brilliant folks at Chuao Chocolatier, and we are in love.
We actually had our bite before we realized what was in it, and all we knew at first was that our mouth contained simultaneously the soothing deliciousness of chocolate, and fiery explosions of spiciness that were so intense they were almost physical inflictions. WHICH IT TURNED OUT THEY WERE. Why? Because the chocolate contained CHIPOTLE AND POP ROCKS. Also salt.
