A Look at the Randolph’s New Alidoro-Designed Menu

When we stopped into the Randolph last night to check out the new sandwiches from Walter Momente of Alidoro, our waitress told us that folks seemed to prefer the pressed ones. But be warned: Even when cut into six pieces, a $15 panini doesn’t go far in feeding a party of three. Anyone expecting the hulking beasts from Alidoro will be roundly disappointed. A far better value is the $4 spicy bread, which is pressed and oiled. We’ll try our luck with a dry sandwich next time — till then, here’s the menu.
