Openings

Belmont: Dante de Magistris, of the popular Cambridge hotspot dante, is opening an Italian restaurant named Il Casale in a converted fire station on Leonard Street. Seeing as how successful Dante is, it will be interesting to see how this new venture turns out. [Zagat Buzz]

Stoddard’s Fine Food and Ale will be a classic American restaurant that offers handcrafted ales. It’s actually going to be located in the same space that held Stoddard’s cutlery store, a notorious spot back in the day. [Zagat Buzz]

South End: Rudi’s Resto-Cafe, the popular Rowes Wharf cafe and sandwich shop, is opening a second location on Mass Ave. The location looks like a prime lunch spot for those who work in SoWa, or the nearby BU and Boston Medical Centers. [Boston Real Estate Blog]
