• Sketch has an astounding 400 possible burger combinations, and Adam Erace samples the tip of the iceberg, including a vegan burger. The take-away? “Some of the best burgers in the city.” Endorsements don’t get much more ringing than that!

• Also up is an interview with Phyllis Farquhar, the chef/co-owner of Sketch. Her advice to aspiring cooks? “Don’t waste your money on cooking schools. Get a job and read and cook like crazy.”

• And finally, a combination review/stab at the Jose Garces cookbook, Latin Evolution. The book sounds beautiful, but not quite the thing for home cooks.
