We aren’t always heavy drinkers, but when we want a cool spot out in the Back Bay, we head to the place famous for cocktails, burgers, and fun. A neighborhood bar with style, Flash’s makes a mean burger and a mean (and cheap!) martini.
There are so many things that draw us back to Flash’s, time and time again. Turkey burgers with a side of garlic fries is one tasty - and addictive - lunch or late dinner, so take your pick. Daily specials that include salads topped with asparagus are always a reason to stop in for a surprise. Other staples we’re known to love, like mac & cheese or a tuna melt, take the proverbial cake. Drinks are cold, bartenders are always friendly, if not funny, and nothing beats the flashback of having a glass of Jungle Juice. We don’t know about you, but it brings back memories of more than a few awkward, tequila-heavy college embarrassments for us.
Fun fact: the veggie burgers at Flash’s at the name brand kind, meaning they’re nut free, allergy-afflicted readers! Eat without fear!
Alternately, go to scam on overworked finance types or to ogle the stumpy ketchup bottles. Bar open til 2am every night of the week.
