This should beat back any end-of-summer blues: Spiegelworld fully opens this weekend, with tonight’s debut of Planet Circus, a carnival-themed dance party, and tomorrow’s launch of RainDance, a weekly house-music party hosted by Turntables on the Hudson. But what we really care about? The return of the waterfront beer garden, of course! After all, it offers the best view of the river you can possibly get from a hammock. This year’s sit-down menu boasts a whopping 30 items, and in addition to a new bar made from a 40-foot shipping container, there are now three elevated private cabanas. We’ll bring you a full assessment on Monday (oh, did you think we were off to the Hamptons?), but for now, take note: Frozen margaritas on the boardwalk are no longer your only South Street Seaport option.
