South Slope: A new bar called Safe Haven Bar and Grill opens tonight on Sixth Avenue and 20th Street, and wants to lure first-timers with $5 Six Point Craft Ales and free food. [Brownstowner via Eater]
Union Square: The goats that Suvir Saran will be cooking into biriyani and curry at Dévi this fall were born on the farm at his Washington County home. The chef “wanted to give them names when they were born in May,” but his partner told him “they already had names — Lunch, Dinner, Amuse, Appetizer, Entreé.” [Insatiable Critic]

Williamsburg: The hood has another speakeasy in the Richardson, which just opened at 451 Graham Avenue. Cocktails are handcrafted, but at least they’ve added a creative twist: Bartenders wear vests that match! At least a Saint Alp’s Teahouse will bring bubble tea to Bedford by September. [Zagat Buzz]
