Revelers at Pacha nightclub won’t go home hungry on Fridays and Saturdays. Water Taxi Beach’s Harry Hawk, who recently won the Burger Battle of the Boroughs, will sell his excellent Motz burger on West 46th Street beginning this weekend. Expect small, juicy griddled patties of LaFrieda beef slathered with a thin layer of Schnäck sauce, a kind of thin pepper mayonnaise. Hawk will sell hot dogs too, but you’d be crazy to pass up the chance for a Motz burger at three in the morning. But hot dogs have their place, too. “If the dogs sell well,” says Hawk, “we may bring back some of the great toppings I did at BroomeDoggs like pineapple mustard and potato-chip dust,” Harry tells us.
