New York has a cupcake problem. We like cupcakes too much. We talk about them, pay as much as $4 each for them (at the City Girl Café), and, in some cases even, stand in line for them. As a result, our bakers are impelled to greater and greater feats of cupcake-making. Here, then, is a Grub Street slideshow with some of the best and brightest of the current crop of cupcakes.
