You would think that eating out every night with the fate of the city’s restaurants in your hands, not to mention working up constant Diner’s Journal blog entries, would be enough to tire Frank Bruni out. But no! The writer, according to a piece in the April issue of Men’s Vogue, experimented two years ago with a Pakistani version of Ambien, acquired via an online pharmacy. No doubt the city’s chefs will parse the story for clues to Bruni’s habits and psyche.
