We’ve found out more about the successor restaurant to Ludwig’s Garten. Jason Evenchik, owner of nearby Vintage, is turning the space into a new bar/restaurant (emphasis on the “bar” part) called Time. 20 beers will be on tap and the behind-the-bar bottle offerings will include an extensive selection of single malts, ryes, whiskeys and bourbons — something Philly kind of sort of lacks. We’re stoked actually… Philadelphia needs a place whose artisan whiskey/bourbon collection can match a bar like Brooklyn’s Fette Sau or Manhattan’s DBA.
