Capri native Graziano Lembo worked the front of the house at Il Nido and San Pietro before deciding to return to his roots as a chef. He’s opened Capri Café, a small four-table takeout joint in Tribeca serving antipasto, salads, and pasta. Lembo is using his mother’s recipes for dishes such as tagliatelle with walnuts, anchovy, and Pecorino cheese; and penne à la Caprese with tomatoes, oregano, basil, and house-made mozzarella. If these don’t sound like dishes worth traveling for (even with the slice-of-home décor), worry not — there’s delivery anywhere below Canal Street.

Capri Café, 165 Church St., nr. Chambers St.; 212 513 1358.
