As a celebration of their post-holiday re-opening, Lake Side Cafe, the “spiritual” vegetarian/vegan spot in Rogers Park, is offering the first ten customers of the evening their entree on the house. This represents a savings of around $10 before tax, but remember, proper etiquette demands you tip on comped items.
We don’t know if we’d drag our ass all the way to Rogers Park for $10 off something we weren’t going to eat anyway, but if you live up there (and cool people do!), try to show up between 5 and 5:30 for your prize. Imagine if you’re not among the first ten? So much bitterness.
