Philadelphia Citypaper In A Nutshell (12/06)

• Over on South Street, Las Bugambilias is doing the high-end Mexican restaurant thing. The food is pretty damn fancypants and the service is good… but apparently they ain’t into picking up the phone.

• Again, we’re happy about the Mexican presence in South Philly. New restaurant Moctezuma (whom we’ll have a menu for shortly) specializes in Oaxacan-style seafood.

• The warehouse/loft district (aka Inquirerland) has a new Nigerian restaurant.

Bridgid’s is offering up a “Beer Bacchanalia.”

Philly’s best risotto.

• Mmm… rugelach.
